Dir. Zeca Carvalho (Brazil/Portugal)
The workshop "Jogos Avançados em Formato Curto" brings together a collection of games to be performed in competitive or demonstrative short form, but which are not usually shown in performances that seek the comfort of the 15 or 20 games generally agreed as infallible recipes for the audience applause. A cast of independent artists and/or different collectives from Portugal are brought together to play under the direction of Zeca Carvalho.

Affirmative Reaction (Canada)
All the way from Toronto, Canada, Affirmative Reaction is ready to take the stage and bring you a show like no other. Before the show starts, they invite audience members to write down a secret that their parents don't know about them and drop them in their "secrets box." Don't worry, your secrets will be kept anonymous, but they will provide inspiration for the improvisers as they create on-the-spot comedic scenes. Plus, who knows, you may just see your own secret brought to life on stage.

Director Kelly Agathos (Greece/Belgium)
Ever woken up after a crazy night out in an unknown place, hungover and unable to remember what you got up to? That is exactly what has happened to the heroes of our improvised Hangover!
Just like the movie of the same name, a group of friends will wake up in an unknown location, without being able to remember what happened last night, but with clues on and around them. Through a series of flashbacks and returns to the present, we will follow their drunken adventures until they ultimately figure out what they got up to last night.

Isaac's Brain Is Very Crowded (US/Netherlands)
COSMOSIS (Isaac explores the multiverse!) is a wacky meditation on cosmic balance and imbalance—a solo improvised science fiction epic inspired by post-rock tunes and nerdy film scores (and decades of conversing with the void). See Isaac play tons of characters across the expanse of time, space, and sanity, and maybe even learn something about the tender bonds that hold millions of universes together in a loving quantum embrace.

André Sobral (Portugal)
An improvised show where an actor, a musician and a lighting technician bring real-life stories to life. The audience is invited to write a short story of how it was their first time, and also to provide their mobile phone number. These stories and phone numbers serve to break the "fourth wall" and interact irreverently.

Dir. ImPresent - Liron Levin and Ignacio Grinstein (Israel/Argentina)
As improvisors, we play a lot with associations, as a verbal way to connect and inspire each other and ourselves. But we tend to give only a little attention to physical associations, what the body tells us and how it can inspire us. In this show we will work on "deep listening". We will pay attention to each small gesture, to every tiny movement of the body. The transformation of our movement will inspire our stories and scenes, as we will also use works of visual arts and collages.

Lilimprov (Portugal)
Based on women’s poetry, Lilimprov is creating on-the-spot stories and abstract WORLDS which are inspired by HER WORDS. We want you to bring your favourite female poet’s work to see how it inspires and move us. Through improvisational theatre, we will dive into the space between the lines of the poems you bring. Please take a picture of the poem in advance and on the night you will be invited to send it to the number which will be projected on the screen.

Ervilha no Topo do Bolo (Portugal)
Starting from a space proposal from the audience, the cast improvises a scene in which the characters, objectives and actions are appropriate to the space and architecture in which the scene takes place. After this first scene, the improvisers ask the audience for a new space and there begins the challenge of reproducing the same scene – with the same characters, the same objectives and the same actions – suitable for the new space and the new architecture. And as there are no two without three, the same challenge is launched for the same space. Sounds easy? Life also seems easy and repetitive and yet here we are, every day given over to improvisation, isn't it true?

MIXED TEAM - I Wanna Dance With Somebody
Dir. Luana Proença (Brazil/Portugal)
We depart from the classic image of parties where we are expecting that someone would ask us to dance. From solitude, to duets, to groups, to the delight of discovering yourself dancing in your own way. "Oh, I wanna dance with somebody... I wanna feel the hit with somebody".

ImPresent et al. (Israel)
Scribbles is a multidisciplinary experience created in the spaces between theater, dance and illustration. A blank page and an empty stage waiting for creation. Drawn lines will jump off the canvas to receive a scenic interpretation full of life, color and movement.
The illustrations create magical worlds, wrapping the stage inside them, together with the actors, dancer and the audience, to tell improvised stories that have never been told.
Join us for the magic and leave reality at the door.
