Scholarship Program

The IRREVERENTE Scholarship Program – Lisbon International Improv Festival is opening free spots for the workshops offered by the Festival in 2025 for individuals who are part of social minorities (e.g., ethnic minorities, non-European immigrants, LGBTQIA+ community, artists unemployed for at least 6 months).

These scholarships are offered to these groups as one of the many possible actions for historical redress and as an incentive to diversify professional and cultural exchange in the world of Improvisation, as well as to promote representation within our audiences. Therefore, the scholarship program aimed at these groups is aligned with the Festival's Code of Conduct.

Scholarships are available for all workshops, so we kindly ask you to check the level and language of the workshop you are registering for, to ensure you can truly benefit from it and integrate with the group.

Volunteer Program

IRREVERENTE is an independent production and a project dreamed up and supported by many people. In this spirit of cooperation, we open space for anyone who wants to join forces and exchange experiences with international and national artists.

The Volunteer Program aims to bring the community even closer. In exchange for helping us build our festival, volunteers will have access to shows, discounts on workshops, and much more.

There are various roles available, which can match what you do best with what we need... We’re looking for photographers, front-of-house staff, translators, and more. Any help you can offer—we’ll do our best to give back in kind.

To join our volunteer team, you must speak Portuguese. English is very welcome, but not required, depending on the role.

Our code of conduct is something we take very seriously, so please give it a read before deciding to become a volunteer.

ART FAIR

With the aim of reaching more artists and creating an even bigger IRREVERENTE community, we’ve decided to create a space for local artists to showcase and even sell their art.

From 7 PM to 11 PM, every day of the festival, there will be booths where local artists can sell their art—even if it wasn't created on the spot.
