In this fourth edition, IRREVERENTE – Lisbon International Improvisation Festival will take place from July 23 to 26, 2025, in person in the city of Lisbon, Portugal.

In 2025, we are changing everything!

Again!

In this edition, under the theme "IMAGINARY WORLDS - BRIDGES BETWEEN REALITY AND IMAGINATION", we aim to explore various forms and languages that break with conventions and find new expressions that offer fresh perspectives of new worlds.

​

This 2025 edition, we are looking for an Irreverente Cast in Portuguese, an Irreverente Cast in English, and also improvisation groups who would like to perform at our festival.

​

Applications for the 2025 Irreverente Cast and improvisation groups will close at 23:59 (Lisbon time) on February 17, 2025.

Note: Members of the Irreverente Cast will not be allowed to participate as members of improvisation groups, as the activities required of Irreverent Cast members are not compatible with those of the groups.

 

Applications for the 2025 Test-Drive Day Workshops (free 1-hour workshops on July 23 for experiments with new teachers or new workshop projects) will open soon. Stay tuned!
